March News!

Chalet Hours
Given the recent inconsistent weather and the likelihood for this to continue into the spring, we would like to inform our members and the public that the chalet may have irregular hours or be closed entirely at any point during the week and at short notice. Trail conditions and chalet hours can be checked on our Facebook or Twitter pages.

If the chalet is closed and you are a member, you are still able to access the chalet with the code for the door. Please contact our Ski School Coordinator Konrad Wiltmann to be given the code and access.
Thank You for your understanding

Congratulation to Racers
The past few months have seen many members participating in a variety of races.

We hosted a successful Sofie Manarin Nickel Loppet earlier and had a great turnout from the community once again.

As well, High School racers from Sudbury who trained at Laurentian recently returned from OFSSA with great success. We congratulate the dedicated athletes and their teachers and coaches. We look forward to hosting these racers as OFSSA is held next year on our trails!

The Laurentian University varsity teams returned home from OUA’s as well with a strong showing amongst the Ontario Universities by both the men’s and women’s team. Congratulations to these student athletes and the varsity coaches and support crews.

Finally the midget racers and Para Nordic racers enjoyed great success as well. A particular shout out to Collin Cameron who returned from Finsterau, Germany to attend his first World Championship in February. He is heading off to South Korea shortly for his first World Cup in Asia. Good luck Collin!

Again congratulations to all these athletes, the coaches, waxing crews and parents. We are proud to have you as club members!

We hope you get out to enjoy some spring skiing.

Our AGM is coming later this spring too so stay tuned for more information.

See you on the trails!
