The Laurentian Para-Nordic program is coming off of an amazing 2014-2015 season with athletes competing at Eastern Canadian Championships, Canada’s Winter Games and Cross Country Canada’s Ski Nationals, taking home medals at all these events.
As they look forward to the new season they are always looking for new recruits. Para-Nordic Cross Country Skiing is an opportunity for athletes with disabilities to compete at a high level by using adaptations such as a guide for visually impaired skiers or a sit ski for those with lower body limitations. It is an amazing way to make the best of the long Sudbury winters, as well as push yourself in ways you never thought possible. You are in good hands with the coaching of Patti Kittler and her group of dedicated volunteers.
