LNSC offers members a number of development programs to improve skiing skills and technique in a friendly atmosphere, all the while enjoying the great outdoors in the wonderful winter season. All programs are age-appropriate and follow Nordiq Canada guidelines and objectives, including CCC’s Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) Program.
youth programs
All program participants must purchase a Laurentian Nordic Ski Club membership in addition to the appropriate program fee.

Bunnies
Saturdays, January - March
1 - 2 PM
An introduction to cross country skiing that emphasizes a healthy lifestyle and love of the outdoors. Children will be coached on basic skiing skills through games, group activities and active play, guided by Nordiq Canada’s Bunnyrabbit program resources.

age 10+
Track Attack
Saturdays, January - March
1 - 2:30 PM
This is program which focuses on outdoor activity, improving fitness and developing technique in both classic and skate skiing. The program focuses on health and physical activity, improving technique, stamina and speed with the opportunity to participate in a local races.

age 4-14
Trailblazers
Mondays + Thursdays, September - April
4:30 - 5:30 PM
A dryland + ski training program for athletes who want more than Saturday programming through the school year.
Trailblazers are supported by coaches to race in local loppets, Northern Ontario District races and other levels of competition based on interest.
Kivi Park passes are required for Monday practices. (Please purchase separately)
Families experiencing financial barriers are encouraged to apply to KidSport-Sudbury to help cover sport program registration fees.
KidSport works to ensure that no kid is ever left watching from the sidelines.
The Sudbury Chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $250 per child/year. Apply now.
